Recipe for Better Health

Recipe for Peace and Better Health
Acknowledge the issue by saying out loud to yourself, 
"I am feeling _________________." (Name it)
Take a bathroom break, go for a walk, 
find a way to become quiet.  
Simply shut out the noise and breathe.
Breathe in to a count of four or five; 
breathe out to a count of 8, 9, or 10.
I often use my beaded bracelet to touch 
or tap my fingers as a kinesthetic response for calming.
Set a timer if possible on your phone. 
Even three to five minutes will work.
Focus on a healing thought or word.  
"Peace, calm." 
Another idea is praying the solution, 
"Thank You, God, that this is going to work out."
Give yourself some kindness and empathy 
with a flowing mantra or saying.
Let go of the need to control or fix the situation.
This is meditation.  
While we all struggle with becoming quiet, these techniques work.
So simple...tall spine, get quiet.
