“Most modern stress reduction techniques are based on the principals of Yoga. Hypertension, pain, cardiovascular disease, anxiety, and depression all respond favorably to regular participation in mindful exercise such as Yoga. Researchers found that the regular practice of Hatha yoga significantly improved the subjects’ flexibility, muscular strength, endurance, and balance.” American Council on Fitness Study
